46 KG poppy husk recovered

Fatehgarh Sahib, Nov 26 (UNI) The Bassi Pathana police in two separate cases recovered 46 KG poppy husk from two persons.

As per police sources, Pargat Singh, a resident of Nandpur was arrested by a police team led by Rajesh Kumar of Anti Narcotics Cell, during patrolling at village Nandpur.

The police seized 44 KG poppy husk from his possession.

In another case, the police nabbed Sadhu Khan, a resident of Rupalheri while patrolling in village Mainmajri and seized 2 KG poppy husk from his possession.

Two separate cases have been registered against both the accused under various sections of NDPS Act.
