1 killed, 20 injured in road mishap in Samastipur

Samastipur, Nov 26 (UNI) A woman was killed and twenty others sustained serious injuries when a mini bus carrying them overturned near Kerai Panchayat Bhawan under Dalsingsarai police station area in the district today.

Police here said the mini bus overturned near Kerai panchayat killing Rita Devi on the spot. 20 others sustained multiple injuries. They were rushed to the local sadar hospital where the condition of five was stated to be critical.

The accident occurred as the driver lost control over the vehicle. The matter was being investigated, police added.
