New Delhi, Nov 25 (UNI) Winter has entrenched itself in the capital with the minimum hovering around 10-11 degrees Celsius for the past few days.

Today's minimum was recorded at 10.6 degrees Celsius, one degree above normal, compared to yesterday's 10 degrees Celsius.

It was yet another chilly morning in the Capital though the minimum temperature slightly rose.

And, with the maximum registering an insignificant decline from yesterday's 28 degrees C to 27.8 degrees C, one degree above normal, today, Delhiites seemed set for a chilly winter ahead.

After a slight abatement in the chill in Delhi on Wednesday, chilly weather returned to the city on Thursday with the mercury falling from 11.5 degrees Celsius to 10.4 degrees Celsius under the influence of East South Easterly winds.

The coming days are not expected to witness any let-up in chill with the Met department forecasting a minimum temperature of 11 degrees C tomorrow as well.

The weatherman has forecast a mainly clear sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours with the possibility of light mist or shallow fog in the morning.
