Govt to provide Rs 25,000 cr loans to farmers: CM

Hyderabad, Nov 25 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today said the government will advance Rs 25,000 crore institutional credit to farmers next year, as against Rs 22,350 crore this year.

According to an official release here, while interacting with the Congress MLAs at his Camp Office, Dr Reddy said the government would provide all kinds of assistances for farmers' uplift.

He instructed the officials to make arrangements for an all-party delegation to meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on fixing the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for paddy at Rs 1000 per quintal.
