Hughes launches e-education in Meghalaya

Shillong, Nov 24 (UNI) Hughes, the leading provider broadband satellite networks and services in India, launched the first e-education through its business associate- Fasttrack.com in Meghalaya.

The centre will offer a wide range of short-term vocational programme to students, pursuing career on tourism, banking and other management courses, Hughes official Shaiq Parvez Kraipak told reporters here.

Mr Kraipak said Hughes plans to reach out to students in smaller towns and rural India to provide them with the best in supplementary educations.

He said yesterday, some of the courses delivered on this platform are preparatory classes for the higher education, vocational and career oriented courses.
