Patna, Nov 24 (UNI) The Bihar Congress today dubbed as ''bundle of lies'' the ''report card'' presented by the Nitish Kumar government highlighting its achievements on completion of two years in office.
The Congress, on the other hand, alleged the NDA government had failed on all fronts.
State president Sadanand Singh told reporters that by presenting the ''misleading figures'' to project a ''rosy picture'' of its achievements, the government was only trying to hide the truth about its saga of ''poor performance and misgovernance.'' ''During the two years of its tenure, the NDA government has failed to improve the law and order situation as crime graph continues to go up, while people are feeling alarmed and insecured'', Mr Singh said. It was all the more ironical that the government had promised to effectively combat crimes within three months of assuming the office, he reminded.
He said all the claims of Chief Minister on attracting investment for accelerating the pace of industrialisation in Bihar, vanished into thin air as top industrial houses like Tatas, Birlas, Ambanis and several others initially evinced interest for investment but they soon developed cold feet after assessing the prevailing ground level situation of the state, which was quite ''appalling'' and ''adverse'' for any potential investor.
