CII organises 'Quality Circle Convention'

Puducherry, Nov 24: As part of its continuous thrust towards strengthening the quality movement in India, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) today organised its 'Fourth State Level Quality Circle Convention' here for its member companies.

According to CII release, the convention provided a unique opportunity to motivate workers to form quality circle within the company and also a forum to exchange their ideas and experiences.

During the programme, assesments were made on the basis of companies efficiency in problem identification, solving problems and tools used by a group of experts.

Cooper Bussmann India Pvt Ltd, Rane Brake Linings Ltd and HCL Infosystems won the first second and third position respectively.

These companies would take part in the 'CII Southern Regional Level Quality Circle Convention' next month, the release added.
