122 farmers arrested for stopping train

Jalaun, Nov 24 (UNI) Police today arrested 122 agitating farmers under the banner of Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) for stopping a passenger train at Orai railway station.

However, they were later released in the evening.

The farmers alleged that they had been facing drought situation and that there was a total lack of irrigation facilities.
