Road accident claimss six of a faimily

Bhuj (Gujarat), Nov 23 (UNI) At least six people, including two women, of a family, died on the spot and four others were seriously injured when their jeep collided with a speeding truck near Adeshwar village on the Kandala-Pathankot Highway (National Highway No.15) early today.

The family members were returning to Anjar after performing a religious ceremony at Siddhpur town in Patan district, police sources here said.

The deceased were identified as Ramesh Roopa Prajapati (47), Dilip Ramesh Prajapati (24), Kiran Roopa Prajapati (41), his wife Kokila (36), Sapana Pravin (27) and Karan (7).

The four injured occupants of the ill-fated jeep have been admitted to a civil hospital at Radhanpur, where their condition was stated to be serious.

The relatives took the bodies to Anjar after the post-mortem was conducted at Radhanpur, police sources said.
