Centre receives proposal for special court funds from Guj govt

New Delhi, Nov 23 (UNI) The Centre has received a proposal from the Gujarat government for providing special funds of Rs five crore for the Evening Courts, the Lok Sabha was informed today.

Law and Justice Minister H R Bhardwaj, in a written reply, said the proposal could not be accepted as administration of justice ''is primarily the concern of the State Government and there is no such scheme under which Central assistance can be provided for the Evening Courts.'' UNI
