Swiss woman donates Rs 1.5 cr to TTD

Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh, Nov 22 (UNI) A Swiss woman donated Rs 1.59 crore to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) 'Pranadhanam Scheme.' Elizebat Ziegler of Geneva in Switzerland donated the amount through Andhra Bank, the TTD said in a release here today.

On behalf of the devotee, Andhra Bank General Manager N Ramaiah Panthulu handed over the amount in the form of fixed deposit to TTD Joint Executive Officer G Balaramaiah.

The devotee had visited the Sri Venkateswara Temple here along with her husband two years ago and participated in the Sahasrakalasaabishekam.
