Complaint filed against RCA for insult to tricolour

Jaipur, Nov 22 (UNI) Nagarik Morcha today filed a petition over the alleged insult to the national flag during the fifth Indo-Pak ODI played in Jaipur on November 18 in the ACJM court IV of Jagmohan Agarwal.

The petition has been posted for a hearing on November 27.

Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) President Lalit Modi, RCA senior vice-president Dr Vimal Soni and secretary Subash Joshi and two unidentifed foreigners have been named in the petition.

The petitioners alleged that RCA and its invitees had insulted the national flag by using it as a sofa cover and table cloth and action be initated against them under section 2 of the Prevention of Insult to National Honour Act 1971 and Rules of Indian Flag Code 2002.
