SRMB launches its new prodcut corrotion proof rebar in Rajasthan

Jaipur, Nov 21 (UNI) SRMB Udyog Ltd, the first TMT bar manufacturer in the secondary steel sector in the country, has launched its revolutionary corrotion proof rebar in the state today.

Cricket legend and brand ambassodor Kapil Dev was present on the occassion.

Launching of the new product along with Kapil Dev, company vice president, marketing and distribution, M M Abraham said the country is incurring an expenditure of Rs.40,000 crore per annum and about 40 per cent of the steel has been used for the rehabilitaiton of the existing structures due to corrotion.

He said the new corrotion proof rebar has been launched as a solution to this loss and it has been found very effective in preventing corrotion and ensuring long life to the structures. The product has been made available to the Indian consumers in technical collaboration with Ms Zinga Metal BVBA, Belgium, he said.

Talking about the expansion plans in Rajasthan he said ''Rajasthan has been an important market for steel and initiatives have been taken to start operations in all parts of the state. Keeping in mind the demand , a stockyard has already been opened in Jaipur''.

The compnay has a total distributor strength of three and 45 dealers were operating under them. The compnay is expecting to achieve a turn over of Rs, 40 crore within the next one year form Rajasthan, Mr Abraham added.

During the last financial year the compnay has strengthened its distributor network to more than 500 dealers spread across the country. The company has also forayed into Tamil Nadu, Kerala, AP, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, NCR, J&K, Uttaranchal and Uttar Pradesh, Mr Abraham said.
