Peaceful and democratic Pakistan in the interest of J

Srinagar, Nov 21 (UNI) Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) President, Peerzada Mohammed Syed today said Pakistan crises will have a direct impact on the overall situation in the region, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir.

Addressing a public meeting at Lassipora, Pulwama, Mr Sayeed said people in Kashmir are in favour of a peaceful and democratic Pakistan.

He expressed hope that the situation in the neighbouring country will improve which was in the interest of entire sub-continent, particularly this state.

He asserted that the resolutions which were passed in recently held AICC session at New Delhi will be implemented in letter and spirit.

Referring to the double shift system introduced in the state, Mr Syed said various projects were completed.

Union Minister for water resources prof Saif-u-Din Soz said the UPA government was serious about better future, welfare and development of the strife-torn state and its people.

Mr Soz said the Centre has provided enough funds for rebuilding the infrastructure damaged during the turmoil.
