NTPC to sign MoU for setting up 1,320 mw power plant in UP

Lucknow, Nov 21 (UNI) Power utility major National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Uttar Pradesh Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd for setting up of a 1,320 megawatt power project in the state.

The MoU will be signed here tomorrow in the presence of UP chief minister Mayawati.

Earlier, the signing of the MoU was scheduled for today.

NTPC is setting up 2 units of 660 mw each at Meza in Allahabad district of the state.
