Night curfew imposed in five police station areas in Kolkata

Kolkata, Nov 21 (UNI) Night curfew was clamped in five police station areas of the city today after widespread violence broke out in which mobs fought pitched battles with police, torched vehicles and injured several.

Police Commissioner Gautam Mohan Chakraborty said night curfew would be imposed from 2200 hrs tonight to 0600 hrs tomorrow in parts of Entally, Beniapukur, Topsia, Karaya and Park Street police station areas.
