Bomb threat to school turns hoax

Puducherry, Nov 21 (UNI) A telephone call threatening a bomb explosion at the Government Girls Higher Secondary School here today turned out to be a hoax.

Police said the school received an anonymous phone call stating that a bomb would explode in the school in half-an-hour time.

On information, a police team, along with sniffer dogs, rushed to the school.

Though a thorough search was carried out, no bombs were found in the school premises.

Efforts were on to trace the caller, police added.
