More than Rs 14 lakh looted from J

Srinagar, Nov 20 (UNI) Burglars looted more than Rs 14 lakhs from a Jammu and Kashmir Bank (JKB) Limited Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) near Tourist Reception Centre (TRC) here today.

Official sources said the burglars entered the ATM after using the code to open the gate and later looted more than Rs 14 lakhs.

This was the first such burglary since the ATMs were installed by different nationalised and private banks in the Kashmir valley.

Police have registered a case and started investigation, the sources added.
