Chinese film bags 'Golden Elephant award' at ICFF

Hyderabad, Nov 20 (UNI) While Chinese film 'Invisible Wings' directed by Feng Zhenzhi bagged the Best Live Action Feature Length Film, the Best Director award in the international category was given to Pablo Biglang Awa for his film Mother Nanny at the 15th International Children's Film Festival (ICFF) here.

Andhra Pradesh Governor N D Tiwari, the chief guest of the concluding ceremony, presented the 'Golden Elephant' award and Rs two lakh cash prize to Director Zhenzhi.

The award for the second best film was presented to 'Mother Nanny', directed by Pablo Biglang Awa, while Norway film 'Bawke', directed by Hisham Zamanwas won the award for the best live action short fiction film.

Both the film directors received Silver Elephant Award and Rs one lakh cash prize.

The award for best child artist in the international category was given to S S Kishan for the film 'Foot Path', directed by himself.

The award for the best animation film went to Latvia film 'Hunting', directed by Janis Cimermanis.

France-based Normand Roger and Denis Chartnand received the 'best Music score' Award for the film 'Tragic story with Happy Ending' directed by Regina Pessoa.

The film 'Mother Nanny' also received Children Jury Award.

A Golden plaque and Rs One lakh cash prize were presented to the film director.

The best child artist award in the Asian Panorama section was given to Devashish Paranjpe for his performance in 'Will to Win' directed by Rishi Deshpande.

The best short film and best feature length film awards were presented to Iranian film 'Once a Crow' and Sri Lankan film 'Butterfly wings', directed by Somaranne Dissanayake, respectively.
