BJP workers burn effigies of Gowda and HDK

Hubli, Nov 20: Activists of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Hubli-Dharwad mahanagar unit today burnt the effigies of Janata Dal (S) national president H D Deve Gowda and his son former Chief Minister H D Kumarswamy, accusing them of ditching the party.

The protest was staged by over 100 activists who had gathered at Jubilee circle and Durgad bail area.

They also shouted slogans against J D (S) leaders.
