Bangladeshi miscreant shot dead by BSF in Tripura

Agartala, Nov 20 (UNI) A Bangladesh national was shot dead by BSF personnel last night when a group of Bangladeshi miscreants tried to enter the Indian territory after cutting the border fencing at Chargharia in Tripura.

Police said here today that the BSF personnel, patrolling the area, were challenged by the miscreants, following which, the Armymen opened fire on them.

One of the miscreants died on the spot while the others managed to flee back to Bangladesh, police added.
