15-year-old boy set ablaze by youth in Rajkot

Rajkot, Nov 19: A 15-year-old boy was allegedly set ablaze by a youth near Anand Nagar society here tonight.

The boy, identified as Nishant Dineshbhai Parmar, sustained severe burn injuries after one Vinod Arya poured kerosene and set him a fire. The incident occurred at around 2000 hrs later he was admitted to civil hospital, here.

Nishant was a resident of Wankaner society, near Hasanvadi, of the city, the police said.

According to the police, the cause behind the gruesome incident was not immediately known.

A manhunt has been launched to nab the culprit, they added.
