Tributes paid to Indira Gandhi on her birth anniversary

Puducherry, Nov 19(UNI) Floral tributes were paid to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her 90th birth anniversary here today.

Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy, his cabinet colleagues, legislators and senior officals of the territorial administration were among others, who garlanded the statue of Ms Gandhi at Ellaipillaichavady here on the occasion.

Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) office bearers also garlanded the statue of Ms Gandhi after paying tributes to her portrait at the party office here to mark the occasion.

The office bearers of the Puducherry Munnetra Congress(PMC) also paid tributes to the portrait of Ms Gandhi at their party head- quarters here.
