Teenager hacks grandfather to death in Punjab

Muktsar, Nov 19 (UNI) A 19-year old youth hacked his 82-year old grandfather to death in Rohariawali village in the district this evening, police here stated.

Police sources said that Sandeep Singh attacked his grandfather, Harbans Singh, with a sharp edged weapon following a land dispute.

The old man, who was injured in the attack, later died on the way to the hospital.

The police has registered a case. No arrests have been made so far.
