Petrol outlet manager shot, robbed of Rs 2.75 lakh
Jaunpur, Nov 19 (UNI) Armed miscreants shot and critically wounded a petrol outlet manager and decamped with Rs 2.75 lakh in Sujanganj area here today.
According to police, petrol outlet manager Chandra Prakash Singh and his aide were going to a bank to deposit Rs 2.75 lakh.
Near Barjinagar bridge, four assailants riding two motorcycles intercepted them and tried to snatch the money bag.
They shot Singh, when he offered resistance and fled with the booty.
Meanwhile, the injured had been admitted to district hospital.
A manhunt had been launched to nab the culprits.
