Indira Gandhi remembered on her 90th birthday

New Delhi, Nov 19: Vice President Hamid Ansari, Prime Minister Mannohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi today led the nation in paying homage to India's first women Prime Minister late Indira Gandhi on her 90th birth anniversary. They went to her memorial, Shakti Sthal, in the morning and paid floral tributes. Sonia Gandhi, who is the late Prime Minster's daughter-in-law, was accompanied by her son Rahul Gandhi.

Union Ministers, including Shivraj Patil and Ajay Maken and Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit were also present on the occasion. Several school children also went to the memorial and paid their tributes.
