Bodies of woman, 2 children fished out from lake

Bangalore, Nov 19 (UNI) Police today fished out bodies of a woman and two children from Iyanakere lake near Sakharayapatna in Chikmagalur district, about 300 km from here.

It was a suspected suicide case. The woman allegedly threw her children in to the lake before drowning herself the police sources added.

She took the extreme step over a family quarrel.

The deceased were identified as Pankaja (32), Bharath (12) and Rashmi (10).

The bodies were sent for post-mortem, the police added.
