Two injured in firing by youth in Haryana

Sonepat, Nov 18 (UNI) Two persons were injured after a youth allegedly fired at them in Jagsi village in the district this morning, police here said.

According to police sources, the youth identified as Ramesh Kumar alongwith his two accomplices Sandeep and Wazir attacked Parmod, a army personnel of the village while he was going to his fields. The shots fired by Ramesh missed Parmod and instead hit his father, Daya Singh and Partap, a resident of the village.

Both the injured were admitted to the PGIMS, Rohtak. The police later succeeded in nabbing Ramesh, while his two accomplices managed to escape. The revolver used in the crime was also recovered by the cops.

According to sources, Parmod who was on leave was assaulted by Ramesh and his friends two days. The army personnel had then got a complaint registered with the police and this had angered Ramesh who had sworn to take revenge.
