Shiv Sainiks hold demonstration against Shah Rukh Khan

Mumbai, Nov 18 (UNI) A small group of protestors allegedly owing allegiance to the Shiv Sena held a demonstration outside Bollywood super Shah Rukh Khan's bungalow in suburban Bandra here today for showing yesteryear's actor Manoj Kumar ''in poor light'' in the recently-released film, 'Om Shanti Om'.

The protestors shouted slogans against Shah Rukh and hailed Manoj Kumar as a true patriot. They demanded that 'offensive' scenes in the movie, in which Khan allegedly made fun of the veteran actor be deleted.

In the film, set in the '70s, a young Manoj Kumar (played by a double) was shown being beaten by police outside a theatre.

Following the film's release, Mr Kumar threatened to sue Shah Rukh insulting' him. However, Shah Rukh later tendered an apology.
