Police arrest chemist with harmful drugs

Moga, Nov 18 (UNI) The Punjab Police seized a large quantity of psychotropic drugs from a chemist on Moga-Zira road here last night, SSP L K Yadav today claimed.

The chemist identified as Ahmed Ali has been arrested under the NDPS Act.

Mr Yadav said that the chemist was carrying the drugs in a bag when he was nabbed. The seized drugs included 71,000 tablets, 4600 capsules, 485 injections and 185 bottles of cough syrups.
