Bangalore, Nov 18 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa today said he was confident of winning the confidence vote in the one-day assembly session called for tomorrow.

Speaking to news persons at the end of his meeting with JD(S) leader and former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy, the Chief Minister said there was 'no threat' to the 6-day-old BJP led government in the state.

This comes in the wake of JD(S) insisting the BJP to sign the 12-point 'MoU' fore it sought the confidence vote.

Mr Yeddyurappa however refused to divulge details of today's meeting and on the 12-point MoU issue.

Mr Kumaraswamy, who also spoke after the two leaders met, said there was 'no change' in JD(S)' stand in supporting BJP in Karnataka. "Our legislators will meet again in the morning before the session. There is no crisis between the two parties. The JD(S) ministers will join the ministry on November 21," he said.

This comes in contrary to his earlier statement after the JDSLP meeting that the 'conditions' put by the JD(S) leadership was 'not negotiable' and the party was ready to face the consequences in the event BJP refused to sign.

Meanwhile BJP Political in charge for Karnataka Mr Yashwant Sinha arrived in the city amidst hectic political activities on the eve of Mr Yeddyurappa seeking vote of confidence.
