Five miscreants sent to eight-day CID remand

Haldia, Nov 18 (UNI) Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate Sangeeta Mukherjee today sent five miscreants to CID remand for eight days.

Police said Selim Noskar and his four associates were arrested from a hideout at the PHE Inspection Bungalow in Gaonkhali under Haldia police station and taken to Bhabani Bhaban at Kolkata on November 16 and produced before the sub-divisional court at Haldia today.

They were taken back to Bhabani Bhaban following the verdict, police added.
