Vendor sentenced to one year imprisonment

New Delhi, Nov 17 (UNI) A local court today sentenced a stamp vendor to one year imprisonment commencing from March 26, 2003.

One Satpal Singh had complained that the stamp vendor Manish Kumar was demanmding Rs 10 extra for a stamp paper of Rs 100.

C B I special Judge A S Yadav found him guilty under section 7 and 13 of Prevention of Corruption Act and also imposed a fine of Rs 4000 on him.
