Tension over question paper leak

Puducherry, Nov 17: Tension prevailed at Mahatma Gandhi Dental College here following an agitation by Confederation of Puducherry Government Employees Association, seeking cancellation of a written examination conducted by the college to recruit Lower Division Clerks.

The Confederation functionaries led by President Balamohanan demanded that the college authorities cancel the examination, which started this morning.

They alleged that the question paper was already leaked out and the authorities were conducting the test to appoint their relatives.

Following the agitation, senior police officials and college principal Shyamsingh held talks with the agitators.

After crosschecking the original question paper with the question paper the agitators had, and finding it to be the same, the Principal ordered the cancellation of examination.
