Southern Charge wins Madras Race Club Trophy

Bangalore, Nov 17 (UNI) Hot favourite 'Southern Charge' (K P G Appu up) wins the Madras Race Club Trophy, the main event of the races held here today.

The winner is property of Dr C S and Mr Z S Poonawalla rep Poonawalla Racing and Breed Ltd and Capt Jamshed J Appoo and trained by S Padmanabhan.

Jockey C Krishnan, Trainers B Puttanna and Darius Byramji had a brace of winners each while five favourites obliged in a card of nine events.
