Talking to media persons on the occasion of 47th Old Boys Meet of Sainik School here, Lt Gen Sekhon said that immediately nothing could be said about the impact of the emergency on Jammu and Kahsmir in the context of rise in infiltration, however, the terrorists camps were still operating across the border. The situation would be cleared after more than a month, he added.
Lt Gen Sekhon, who is to join his new assignment as Director General Miliatary Operations in New Delhi, later this month, said, ''Overall security situation in Jammu and Kashmir is under control and the coming assembly elections in the state would make it better when people would choose their representatives.''
