Missing Delhi girl found dead in Kanpur

Lucknow, Nov 17 (UNI) The body of a Delhi girl who went missing on November 13, was recovered from Jajmau area of Kanpur today.

Divyani Narang -- a class XII student of Bhatnagar International School in the national capital -- had come to participate in a programme at a Lucknow-based school on November 13 along with her principal.

The principal registered a case at Krishna Nagar police station here last night, after Divyani went missing under mysterious circumstances.

According to police, the girl was photographing at a mound under Jajmau police station area and might have accidently fallen off it.

Meanwhile, a probe was underway into the circumstances under which Divyani reached Kanpur.
