Minister for time-bound mutation of land

Chandigarh, Nov 17 (UNI) Haryana Minister of State for Revenue Savitri Jindal has directed all the District Revenue Officers (DROs) of the state to ensure that mutation of land should be sanctioned within two months of registration.

Ms Jindal was presiding over the review meeting of District Revenue Officer here.

The Minister said that possibilities of appointing Mahila Nambardar's would be examined .She also said that various Manuals such as Land Record Manual, Land Administration Manual and Registration Manuals would be suitably amended to make them compatible with the system of computerization of land records.

She said that the Revenue Department would impart training to the unemployed graduates of the state in patwari work at the Patwar Training School. They would be awarded certificates which would help them to find jobs in private sector also.

She said that computer centres would be set up in all the Tehsils including Sub-Tehsils by December 15. She said that essential information such as khasra number and location relating to registration of property would be put on website.
