Karunanidhi presented renewed party membership card

Chennai, Nov 17 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and President of the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), M Karunanidhi was today presented the renewed party membership card, marking the commencement of the 13th party's organisational elections.

A party release here said in view of the elections, the party today launched distribution of new/renewed membership cards to partymen across the state and Mr Karunanidhi was given the first renewed card at 'Anna Arivalayam', the party headquarters here.

Headquarters representative R Ponnuram handed over the card to Mr Karunanidhi this morning.

Senior party leader Arcot N Veerasamy, Organisational secretary T K S Elangovan and South Chennai District Secretary J Anbazhagan were present on the occasion, the release said.
