Haryana women defeat HP by two wickets

Una, Nov 17 (UNI) Haryana defeated Himachal Pradesh by two wickets in an important league match of the North Zone Under-19 Women Cricket tournament at the Indira Stadium here.

Batting first, Himachal scored 115 runs in the alloted 50 overs with Babli remaining unbeaten on 50 runs complied in 126 balls. For Haryana, Sunil took two wickets.

In response, Haryana scored 116 runs in 37.5 overs at the loss of eight wickets.

Mukesh top scored with 33 runs, while Sapna Randhawa and Tanu took three wickets each for the hosts.

Haryana has gained five points with its win over Himachal.
