New Delhi, Nov 17 (UNI) Gautier, one of the leading furniture brands in the world, plans to enter booming Indian retail industry by opening its first retail outlet by this year-end.
The French conglomerate, which is in talks with some of the local partners for alliance, will exclusively retail its range of furniture and home solutions through the store.
''The burgeoning lifestyle aspirations of the new-age Indian consumers coupled with the retail industry boom sweeping through the country has prompted Gautier to seriously look at establishing its presence in the Indian market,'' company's Chairman and Managing Director M Dominique Soulard said.
He said the firm will set up large format (20,000 to 40,000 sq feet) retail outlets across the country.
The entire range of furniture to be launched in India would be imported from the Gautier factory in France.
