DCMS to intensify agitation for reservation

Kottayam, Nov 17 (UNI) The Dalit Catholic Mahajana Sabha (DCMS) will intensify its agitation demanding inclusion of Dalit Christians in the Scheduled castes (SCs) list.

Addressing a news conference here today, its State General Secretary P O Peter and others said rallies would be taken out and darna would be staged before the Collectorate on November 20.

Thousands of Dalit Christians would participate in the rally in support of their demand. The agitation would be intensified if necessary steps were not taken to include the Dalit Christians in the SCs list, he warned.

Archbishops, Bishops and other leaders would address the dharna, he added.
