Congress afraid of CM popularity: Ranjana

Dhar, MP, Nov 17 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Minister of State for Tribal Welfare Ranjana Baghel has alleged that opposition Congress was indulging in mud-slinging as it was afraid of the increasing popularity of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Defending Mr Chouhan, who is facing a probe for alleged corruption, Ms Baghel told reporters here last night the Chief Minister's kins doing business was not improper.

She asked Leader of Opposition in the Assembly and Congress leader Jamuna Devi to introspect and ponder over about the assets accumulated by her party leaders in their political career.

Ms Baghel said, it would be better if a senior leader like Ms Jamuna Devi brought to the public's notice the omissions and commissions in the development works.
