Chouhan must resign: Sajjan
Shajapur, MP, Nov 17 (UNI) Former Madhya Pradesh Minister and senior Congress MLA Sajjan Singh Verma demanded that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan should tender his resignation immediately to facilitate impartial inquiry into the purchase of dumpers after registration of an FIR against him and his wife on a court order.
Mr Verma, while talking to reporters here yesterday, alleged Mr Chouhan's collusion with the proprietors of JP Cement was evident as police had not yet arrested the accused in the killing of a youth at the factory. ''The CM is protecting the culprits'', he charged.
Alleging that corruption was rampant in the present BJP regime, he said atrocities on women and Dalits was on the rise and the state's law and order situation was deteriorating.
