Srinagar, Nov 17 (UNI) As many as 213 Haj pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir left here for Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, today.

The Haj flight, carrying 132 men and 81 women, left here for Jeddah at 1115 hrs this morning.

With this, a total of 1465 pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir have so far left here for the annual Haj pilgrimage.

Indian would operate a single Haj flight from here for Jeddah for the first fortnight.

The pilgrims have been requested to strictly abide by the guidelines issued by the State Haj Committee to avoid any inconvenience and reach the newly-constructed Haj House at 0530 hrs.
