2 arrested with brown sugar

Bhopal, Nov 17: Two youth carrying 100 grams brown sugar were arrested in Nishatpura area here last night under the NDPS Act, police said.

Rajasthan-resident Bhanwarlal Meena and local resident Shahzad were arrested and a four-wheeler was seized.

Meena, whose wife was the Sarpanch of Rampuria in Rajasthan's Jhalawar district, had arrived here in a four-wheeler to finalise a deal for sale of high quality brown sugar, according to city Superintendent of Police Amit Singh.
