Truck kills 3 on way to submerge Laxmi idol

Siddharthnagar, Nov 16 (UNI) At least three youth were crushed to death and as many severely injured by a truck, while participating in a procession to submerge Goddess Lakshmi idol in Dumariaganj town of the district.

The accident occurred late yesterday, when driver of the truck, which was also part of the procession, took a back gear.

Three persons were killed, while others admitted to hospital, police said.

The deceaed were identified as Parvez (16), Raseed and Sunny Rawat.
