Treat Bhagat Singh as role model: Minister tells youths

Tiruchirapalli, Nov 16 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Transport Minister K N Nehru today recalled the services rendered by freedom fighter Bhagat Singh in the freedom struggle and called upon the youths to treat him as their role model.

Participating in the 'Bhagat Singh Birth Centenary Celebrations' and 'National Press Day' here, the Minister pointed out the importance of media and its role in a strong democratic set up.

Mr Nehru said the state government had taken various welfare measures to protect the interests of journalists.
