Raw material gutted in furniture factory fire in Jaipur

Jaipur, Nov 16 (UNI) Plywood, plastic sheets and other raw materials were burnt to ashes in a major fire which broke out in a furniture factory in the Malviya industrial area here this morning.

According to police and fire brigade sources the blazes broke out in the factory probably due to short circuit, around 1030 hours and over 15 fire fighting teams worked hard for about four hours to put out the flames.

No casualty was reported in the accident while loss to property was being assessed, the sources said.
