Kuwait to host 2009 edition of Federation of Indian Organisations

New Delhi, Nov 16 (UNI) Kuwait will host the next session of the Federation of Indian Organisations in 2009.

Its bid for hosting the conference was supported by India and several Arab and Asian countries. This was stated by Mr Talal-Al-Qahtani, leader of the Kuwaiti delegation to Federation of Engineering Organisations General Assembly, which concluded its three-day session today.

Mr Qahtani said more than 100 countries are expected to participate in the conference at Kuwait.

Referring to Indo-Kuwaiti relation, he said Kuwait is seeking India's help in upgradation of enginnering technology in various fields particularly environment, communication and capacity building.
